Rarely do I find any good harem manga or anime, however one that I’ve recently stumbled upon is called Tune In To Midnight Heart (Mayonaka Heart Tune).
Harem is a sub-genre that involves 2 or more love interests to the main character, usually girls. The endgame of the story would be the main character ‘choosing’ one of the love interests. The genre is sometimes seen as ‘degenerate’ to fans and non-anime fans as well.
Tune In To Midnight Heart Synopsis
At the end of a difficult day, the haughty but purehearted rich kid Arisu found his only solace in the voice of another girl his age, who hosted a livestream under the pseudonym “Apollo.” Then, one day, the broadcasts stopped. Arisu has dedicated the years since then to finding Apollo’s true identity, and he’s narrowed it down to one particular high school.
He transfers in as a student and figures it’ll be a cinch–but then discovers it could be any of the girls in the broadcasting club! And the real Apollo isn’t talking for reasons of her own! These four girls have no use for Arisu’s personality, but they each harbor dreams of using their voices to build a career, and they sure could use his money…
Can the blunt and blustering Arisu buy his way into the club’s good graces, and find the real girl attached to his dream voice? (Taken from Tankobonbon)

Tune In To Midnight Heart Review
The Harem
In this harem there are four girls part of the Fuurin Broadcasting Club. These girls are who Yamabuki suspects to be ‘Apollo’.

I’ve only read 10 chapters so far of the manga, and the romance hasn’t been revealed yet. What I mean is that the girls haven’t shown real romantic interest in the main character yet. However there have been flash-forwards where the author teases who Yamabuki chooses.
But this story is similar to the famous harem The Quintessential Quintuplets where there really isn’t any clear winner. Anything can happen, and anyone could be picked.
It could also go the route of We Never Learn! where the author made a ‘final’ chapter for each of the girls. So whoever the fans were rooting for would be happy with the ending.
Premise of the Story
The premise of the story is similar to Nisekoi, kind of, wherein the main character doesn’t know who his ‘love’ is. They try to find out who it is by getting to know the possibilities.
This premise is built for the story to go for a long time. Nisekoi went for over 200 Chapters, Tune In To Midnight Heart is only on Chapter 65 currently.
Art
I like the art of the manga, Masakuni Igarashi is a very good artist. The art reminds me a lot of Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister. The art is so well done for a weekly manga, check the panels from Chapter 1 yourself.
Do I Recommend You Read Tune In To Midnight Heart?
If you like romcom manga or if you’re guilty pleasure is harem manga, this is the manga for you. I’ve enjoyed it so far and just like Star of Beethoven I know this will get an anime adaptation in the future. It has that vibe to it.
