Shin K. | Founder
Born in Japan in 1988, Shin Kawamoto is an author, entrepreneur, and global explorer with a passion for sharing Japanese culture with the world. He noticed that while many people were fascinated by anime, travel, and Japanese traditions, they often struggled to understand the deeper cultural stories and real-world locations behind them.
To bridge that gap, Shin founded AnimeInJapan in 2023.
Through Anime In Japan, Shin helps readers discover the real Japan through anime, connecting popular series with the destinations, culture, history, food, and everyday experiences that inspire them. His goal is simple: to use anime as a gateway to a deeper understanding of Japan.
