The Fate/strange Fake anime’s official X account, formerly Twitter, posted a new 30-second subtitled trailer. The new installment in the Fate series will premiere worldwide on December 31, 2024 through Crunchyroll. The story will follow the events of Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn, the 1-hour TV Special that aired in July 2023.
Fate/strange Fake is a light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita, which started in 2015. However, its origins date back to 2008, when the author created it as an April Fool’s joke. He set the story around a flawed version of the Third Holy Grail War, the False Holy Grail War. Additionally it features several Masters and Servants, some of whom are “True” and others “False.”
Moreover, fans of the Fate series will recognize directors Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume. They have contributed to the production of the previous Fate film, Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn. Director Sakazume also worked on an episode on Fate/Apocrypha and as an animator on Fate/Grand Order. Yukei Yamada will also continue to do the character designs for the new Fate/strange anime
Furthermore, A-1 Pictures will be producing the new series. They are well known for producing Kaguya-sama, Sword Art Online, Anohana, Erased, and many more.

On December 19, 2024, Crunchyroll will be releasing the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel trilogy. The trilogy will include Presage Flower, Lost Butterfly, and Spring Song. Additionally, Crunchyroll will be streaming the movies in Japanese. Subtitles for the films will, in turn, be available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
