Pokémon Horizons Part 4: The Series is the 26th season of Pokémon that stars new protagonists moving on from Ash Ketchum. Liko and Roy are the new protagonists who joined The Rising Volt Tacklers. They are an adventure group that explores different regions, including the new Paldea Region from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
This new season announced in 2022 follows the end of Pokémon Journeys, the anime that concluded the journey of Ash Ketchum. After 25 seasons, Pokémon Horizons ushers in a new chapter with fresh faces and a new direction for the Pokémon world.

The Rising Volt Tacklers are heading to Paldea, but they face one problem—they’re broke. To make ends meet, Friede lands some odd jobs. Including searching for a missing Bramblin and moving rocks from a research site threatened by wild Pokémon.
Meanwhile, a shy Oinkologne, separated Tandemaus, and hammer-loving Tinkatink receive helping hands from the Rising Volt Tacklers. But when Sprigatito runs away and Dot’s mom arrives, the group has some big decisions to make. Liko and Roy meet a superhero Pokémon. They notice a mysterious tower that reveals the Explorers’ biggest plan yet.

My Thoughts on Pokémon Horizons
I’m a huge Pokémon fan, and have been since I was a kid. I have played every main series Pokémon game since Pokémon Red and Blue. Additionally, I have watched most of the Pokémon anime series; however, I have not yet watched the latest season. If you’re new to the series this might be a great series to watch with your family, as it’s a brand new season.
A Breath of Fresh Air for Pokémon Fans
Pokémon Horizons: The Series is a breath of fresh air for long-time fans of the franchise. While Ash Ketchum’s story has come to an end, the new series have new characters which is foreign to the anime fans. The setting in the Paldea region will add new dynamics to the series.
With the release of Part 4, fans can expect even more thrilling adventures, touching moments, and action-packed scenes. As the Rising Volt Tacklers move forward, they will meet new Pokémon. They will solve mysteries and face challenges that will shape their futures.
