There’s only a couple days until the release of Attack on Titan THE FINAL CHAPTERS and the official X, formerly Twitter, account announced something special for the audience which has sparked anticipation for many fans. They will be able to watch a brand new post-credit scene that the original finale didn’t feature.
Unfortunately this is all the details MAPPA has given on the brand THE FINAL CHAPTERS post-credit scene. We don’t know if it will be something we already know, or something entirely brand new.
THE FINAL CHAPTERS new post-credit scene will most likely not be a sequel of sorts, as creator Hajime Isayama hasn’t hinted at any sequels at all. Whether that be a manga or anime. The closest thing released is a short story titled *Attack on Titan: Bad Boy*, which focuses on the fan-favorite character Levi Ackerman.
The official X account did however showcase three mini illustration prints of Eren, Armin and Mikasa. They will be given at random between November 11 – 14 2024. In addition, special merchandise will be distributed and will be on sale for the first couple days of the film’s release.
What is THE FINAL CHAPTERS about?
A Japanese-only release anime feature film. THE FINAL CHAPTERS is a 145 minute long film compilation of the anime’s final season. The anime series director Yuichiro Hayashi will also be directing the film, which will be including minor changes.
These minor changes will include 5.1 surround sound and improved visuals in some scenes. It will be releasing in Japanese theaters only, on November 8, 2024. There is still no news on an international release.
