Halloween is fast approaching, and if you are a procrastinator like me you don’t have a costume yet. I’ve got you covered though, I’m going to give you some anime characters to dress up as. You probably have most of these things in your closet already, so you don’t have to go out and buy anything. But if you really want to go for one of the costumes here, I’ll be linking some clothes that may fit. You may also have to do some DIY and makeup to complete the look though.
From individual anime costumes to couple-themed options, we have a diverse selection to suit everyone’s needs. Rest assured, there is something for everyone here.
Killua – Hunter x Hunter
One of the most recognizable characters for most anime fans. You can complete the look by ordering a white wig, and slapping on a 99 tag on your shirt. Additionally, if you have a yo-yo handy, you can complete the Killua costume!
L – Death Note
For those who wish to fully commit to the costume, going barefoot is an option if the party is indoors. You can also do his signature sit position the entire night. Put some eye shadow underneath your eyes
Toji – Jujutsu Kaisen
If you are an avid gym enthusiast, Toji may be the ideal cosplay choice for you. In addition to the outfit I listed, optionally you can DIY his purple demon.
Jesse & James – Pokemon
What You Need:
For Jesse:
White Cropped T-Shirt (with a DIY Rocket Logo)
White Skirt
Black High Boots
Black Gloves
For James:
White Long Sleeve T-Shirt (with a DIY Rocket Logo)
White Pants
Black Shoes
Black Gloves
A nice couple costume. The best part is that it’s recognizable by anyone, even non-anime fans. You’ll have to do a little DIY work though with the Team Rocket logo. Unless you have a T-Shirt with that already.
Hit their signature pose for pictures, and maybe if you have a Meowth doll you can complete the look.
Denji & Makima – Chainsawman
What You Need:
White Long Sleeve Polo
Black Trousers
Black Necktie
Dress Shoes
Another simple potential couple costume. However you don’t need to wear it with someone else. This is an easy anime costume since everybody has most of these clothes in their wardrobe already.
Nami – One Piece
What You Need
White and Blue Striped T-Shirt
Orange Shorts or Skirt
Boots
Nami has a lot of outfits, however this might be the easiest one to pull off last-minute. If you don’t have a white and blues striped t-shirt, you could DIY and paint one of your plain white t-shirts. This might be a little closer to the original, as you can copy the stripes one to one.
Yor Forger – Spy x Family
The author of Spy x Family has made many illustrations of Yor’s fashion sense. You could go as any of these honestly. This is her second most recognizable outfit, after her assassin dress.
Tohsaka Rin – Fate/Stay
In addition, you could wear a cross necklace of some sort to create a similar look to her actual character design. If you have long hair, you could also tie them into twintails.
Get Ready for Halloween
These are some of the easiest anime halloween costumes and cosplays that I could think of. Thousands of anime exist, so you could easily dress up as other characters as well.
